Name of Museum Tutankhamun tomb is the only Kings tomb in Ancient Egypt that was untouched. Tutankhamen was buried at the Valley of the Kings in Upper Egypt and his tomb had four rooms with more than 5,000 treasures. This was all made for the afterlife. Tutankhamun was the king at age nine from 1332 to 1322 BCE and died at age 19 years old. Tutankhamen’s tomb was across the Nile River near Thebes. Howard Carter the discoverer of Tutankhamun’s tomb. Howard Carter searched for Tutankhamen’s tomb for nearly six years. The art in Tutankhamen’s tomb was covered in gold and this made Ancient Egypt a civilization. Introduction Back to Room 1

Name of Museum King Tuts Tomb shows that Ancient Egypt is a civilization. First, is the golden Shrine. This shrine had statues of kings, boat carved from alabaster, index heads, and was robbed by tomb robbers. Second, the hunting of the astringes on tuts golden fan was a picture of the astringes and the king killed and hunted the astringes, the feathers were used for statues.
