5. Tanya Denese Dixon I am a senior in the Fox School of Business and Management, majoring in Human Resource Management. I was born and raised in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. I have 3 children; an 8 year old boy named Dean, a 9 year old girl named Whitney, and a 21 year old Temple senior named Michael! With a few breaks incorporated, I have been a Temple student since 1989 and a Temple employee since 2000. I absolutely love my family. We come in all different shapes, sizes, shades and most of all personalities. But, I am who I am because of them. I also love being a part of the Temple family and even after I get my degree I hope to remain a part of the Temple family in some form until I retire. In my spare time, I enjoy going through the tons of family portraits I have gathered through the years and putting them together with relevant or favorite songs of the honoree to create digital slideshows which we use during milestone celebrations. When I was in preschool, I learned a little song that has stuck with me throughout life. Some people dislike me for this philosophy because they say I’m never satisfied. Good, Better, Best.
