Homework Homework Calendar Reading…AR 20 minutes…with Fluency…in class DOESN’T COUNT! Minimal Math…some REDO math tests! Some finishing up of writing Few spelling worksheets…most of it will be completed in class! Signatures as needed (progress reports, AR goals)
6
Let’s talk about AR really quickly… Everyone’s goal is 1 point per week…in three weeks they ALL owe 3 points. Its cumulative and continues all the way through the year. Reading is to be FUN! They get to pick whatever they want to read…there are no assigned levels. They MUST read for 20 minutes each night! If your child likes challenges…they can PICK a more challenging book. An average grade level chapter book will earn them ~5 points…they will need to plan accordingly, but rain or shine EVERY THREE WEEKS they OWE 3 points. Please sign the form that is going home every three weeks and talk with your child about the importance of reading!
7
Grades Science is done with Mr. Cox and Mr. Calvillo If you have any questions regarding this subject area, please refer to them AR and Progress Reports are given every 3 weeks Please review, sign, and return the NEXT day if possible!
