11 American Solar Challenge Cont. How do I become involved with UCOs Solar Car Project? - Its easy! Just fill out a Design Application Form and return it to a club officer. What is the route of the race (Rayce)? - Historic Route 66: Beginning in Chicago and ending in Los Angeles. It's been called variously "The Mother Road," "The Main Street of America," and "The Will Rogers Highway." It's some 2,448 miles long, or about 4000 kilometers, and crosses 8 states and 3 time zones. http://www.americansolarchallenge.org/race_route.html
