(1) Talking about giving and going to parties, get-togethers and reunions, etc:

① It is at 7:30p.m., on May 5th. And we’ll have it in the Students’ Center.
② The Students’ Union is organizing an English Party for the coming weekend.
③ There will also be an exchange corner at the stamp show.
④ Are there any special arrangements for overseas students?
⑤ There will be parties, tours with local guides, and visits to people’s home.
⑥ I’d like to participate if it’s not too expensive.
⑦ Most guests will arrive a little bit earlier, according to Chinese custom.
⑧ Casual dress would be quite acceptable for a family gathering.
