5. Five Pillars of Islam (Faith) There is only one God (Allah) and Mohammed is his prophet. Pray 5 times daily facing the Holy City of Mecca. Give money (alms) to the poor. Fast during daylight hours of religious holidays. Ramadan lasts about one month (date changes yearly) Each Muslim must make a (trip) pilgrimage to Mecca sometime in their life.
