Activities per Area Secretariat for External Relations Promotes and disseminates the work of the Organization to different audiences and through different mechanisms and works on strengthening and enhancing its institutional image Supports resource mobilization and the management of cooperation with major donors and programs Coordinates relations with the host countrys government Coordinates relations with Think Tanks, academic sector and foundations Secretariat for External Relations-Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs- October 2012

Activities per Area Department of Press and Communications Performs daily (7 days a week) media coverage (print, radio and television) Prepares press releases Disseminates photo news, photographs, radio reports and videos Produces news clips Promotes relationships with the media outlets and reporters Manages the Organizations website Manages the Organizations social networks Produces and coordinates institutional publications Prepares, edits, records, transcribes and translates the Secretary Generals speeches Develops communication and promotional strategies Secretariat for External Relations-Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Affairs- October 2012

Activities per Area Art Museum of the Americas (AMA) AMA is a space to promote the Organization through enhancing the visibility, the development, expansion and dissemination of cultural heritage and diversity of the Member States, through programs, exhibits, special events and cultural activities, emphasizing the main issues on the hemispheric agenda. It is done through the preservation, appraisal and promotion of the valuable permanent collection of contemporary art, conducting exhibitions, educational activities and outreach programs with Member States and in partnership with other institutions. Also, cooperates in the design, planning and implementation of physical- architectonic improvement of the Museum as well as its institutional structure to ensure its sustainability.
