5. WGISS Hosting Services Switch has been made from Apollo hosting to EOGEO hosting. Provides both email list and web services for WGISS. EOGEO services that WGISS is using –Emailing list service Uses Mailman (From zero ability to configure -> too many options) –Web hosting Current capability at 5 GBytes ( vs. 500 MBytes with previous hosting provider.)

6. emailing Lists Set up as before for Subscriber Only –Only people who subscribe to the mailing list can post mail to the list. –Those who are not subscribe, may sent mail but mail will be sent to Moderator to approve. –Also new subscribers must be approved by Moderator. Will be implemented today. and Open lists –Anyone can send mail to list.

DNS Support Top-level DNS (SOA) is done by NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) for ceos.org: –ceos.orgceos.org HTTP requests go to host at JAXA –ceos.org mail exchanges (MX) go to host at Goddard Space Flight Center (currently) –wgiss.ceos.org web requests go to non-profit host (EOGEO.org) on a commercial provider (Interland.com)
