The Process of Planning 1.I reviewed the pre-assessments in order to determine which students would be placed into the specific groups. 2.I would organize the information into a “Pre- assessment Results Chart” for each lesson. 3.I would then meet with Ms. Gaskill to discuss the results and to get any assistance that she may offer

My Philosophy: Then Now Discipline problems should be handled in the office The teacher has the only role in time management Everyone should do the same work Teacher sets the pace for the class Start at the beginning and work toward the end when planning Assessments are done at the end Discipline should be handled within the classroom if possible The entire class has a role in time management Differentiation Students set the pace for the class Begin at the end and work backwards when planning Assessments are needed at the beginning, middle and end

conclusion Developing as an educator Teach in a Pre-K through 5 th grade classroom Develop my skills of differentiation with experience Gain more knowledge of the Georgia Professional Standards Eventually go back to school and work on a specialist degree in special education I hope to earn my doctorate in teaching within the next 5 to 10 years
