Summary First significant program changes since inception in 2001 Response to 2 key factors: 1. Need for more flexibility (grantees) 2. Need for streamlining (reduced budget)

Utilizing more technology Online application submittal Recent budget amendment for Gortons Studio to build web forms Includes email with copy of application Moving grantee reporting online by end of year

Budget reductions Since 2010, ~20% reduction in administrative budget to manage program In response… Move to one-step application process Use technology to streamline application and reporting processes Reduce program expenses such as printing and meeting room fees
