Centre YVR Airport Depot The Canada Line An automated light rail rapid transit system linking downtown Vancouver with both Richmond and Vancouver International Airport. Construction commenced in August of 2005. Opened on August 17, 2009, 3 months ahead of schedule.

At-grade section on airport lands Elevated in Richmond, on airport lands and in Vancouver to 63rd Ave.

InTransit BC InTransit BC (ITBC) is a joint venture company equally owned by SNC-Lavalin (SNC), the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ), and the British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (bcIMC) To finance its capital contribution to the Canada Line project for a total amount of $720 million, ITBC raised equity from its three shareholders, arranged a debt financing secured over a 28-year term from its lenders ITBC also manages Canada Line’s ancillary activities, which encompass advertising, wireless networks, newspaper distribution, fibre optics, retail and a public art program InTransit BC was the 2009 recipient of the Gold Award for Infrastructure from the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships

South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink) Metro Vancouver’s regional transportation authority It is responsible for regional transit, cycling and commuting options as well as AirCare and Intelligent Transportation System programs First North American transportation authority to be responsible for the planning, financing and managing of all public transit in addition to major regional roads and bridges In 2009, TransLink carried 188 million revenue passengers

The Vancouver International Airport Authority (YVRAA) Canada’s gateway to Asia-Pacific Private, not-for-profit company that operates Vancouver International Airport (YVR). 16.8 million enplaned-deplaned passengers in 2010 2009 reported revenues of $359.1 million. Approximately 400 employees
