16 How do I get Discover?  Simplest option is to download from SOLUS 3  Alternatively, Discover is available to download from SupportNet For installation notes visit www.capitaess.co.ukwww.capitaess.co.uk

17 Technical Requirements  SIMS Spring 2011 Release  SQL Server 2008.  Microsoft.net Framework version 4.0.  Recommend operating systems 32-bit and 64-bit versions:  Windows XP SP3 or later, Windows Vista, Windows 7  Windows Server 2008 SP2 or later, Windows Server 2008 R2. Preparing to Use Discover  A CPU with a Core Duo 2 or a higher specification processor.  A dedicated graphics card with appropriate drivers installed.

18 Once installed there are two methods to launch Discover.  Through Sims. Net ; Log into SIMS as usual then access via menu route Focus / Assessment / Discover  Via Program Files; use your SIMS log in details Which ever method you use Discover will honour SIMS permissions, no separate Discover permission are required Permissions

19 Data Preparation for Discover Data needs to meaningful. To ensure your analysis is meaningful your data needs to be:-  real time  accurate  complete
