Introduction to APv6TF The APv6TF was established to assist in IPv6 production-level deployment and promotion among economies in the Asia Pacific region. APV6TF is participated by 17 IPv6 Forums from the Asia Pacific region, i.e., Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Pacific Island, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Objectives of APv6TF The objectives of the APv6TF are centered on knowledge sharing among members on IPv6 strategies for public, private and promotional organizations. Among them are:- Develop [General Deployment and Transition Guidelines] a set of smooth IPv6 deployment scenario for Home, Enterprise, Public Sector, ISP and Mobile-operator segments. Investigate and publicize IPv6 deployment status through diffusion metric identified measurement. Discuss and promote IPv6 and its related technology through the organization and provision of an open mailing list, Task Force web site, and Task Force managed promotional events. Promote high-level awareness through targeting CEO/COO/ Government officials/regulatory bodies. Discuss and provide recommendations regarding IPv6 deployment.

Membership Membership is open to any individual or organization willing to contribute to IPv6 promotion and deployment in the Asia Pacific region. All membership can received the weekly news through the mailing list.
