Let’s Look at some amazing trees These trees are in New Zealand. Why do you think they look this way?

This beech tree grows in South America. Moss is hanging from it.

These are blooming cherry trees in Germany.

This oak tree in America is over 1,400 years old!

The third largest giant sequoia in the world. It’s located in California. It is 73 m tall.

This is a maple tree tunnel. It is also located in America.

This is called a rainbow eucalyptus. It is in Hawaii. The rainbow patches appear as its bark sheds.

These boabab trees are found in Madagascar. They hold a lot of water in their trunks, which is great during droughts!

What is a biome? A biome is a LARGE community of plants and animals. Each biome has a certain type of climate.

Rain forests 1.More species of plants and animals than any other biome 2.The largest rain forest is the Amazon Rain Forest 3.It provides 1/5 of the world’s oxygen and fresh water 4.The Amazon River has over 2,000 species of fish… that’s more than the whole Atlantic Ocean!
