Make a tutorial using: flip cam Sketchcast.com Jing Photostory Voki Animoto Go Animate or some other form of multimedia approved by me

1. Use moving models you create to show how radiation and convection currents influence our weather, be sure to include fronts, air masses and pressure. 2. Discuss specific heat, design and implement an experiment to explain it. 3. Explain Long-term and Short-term environmental changes as well as their affects on organisms and their environments. (Pictures and diagrams a must) 4. Compare and Contrast Terrestrial, Marine, and Freshwater ecosystems be sure to use pictures and diagrams. 5. Discuss shark counter shading and fusiform body shapes. Describe why they would or would not be useful in terrestrial as well as freshwater ecosystems. Be sure to include graphics to exemplify your point. 6. Make a food web that includes at least 10 organisms (at least one, producer, consumer, and decomposer must be included) ONLY this project can be a 3-D model or made with one of the media programs.

1. Your presentation should be between 1 and 2 minutes long. 2. You should introduce the topic that you are going to teach. 3. All audio should be clear and easily understood. 4. Discuss the topic and be sure to use examples and any tips or tricks that you may have to help yourself remember. 5. At the end of your presentation you should credit all of those who helped. 6. Also in the credits section you must credit any multimedia content you used. (guidelines later in presentation)

The student who creates the best multimedia tutorial presentation per topic will not only receive the extra credit, but will receive it twice!!

Motion Media Up to 10% of work or 3 minutes, whichever is less Clip cannot be altered in any way

Text Up to 10% of work or 1000 words, whichever is less Poems Entire poem if less than 250 words 250 words or less if longer Not more than 5 poems from same anthology Only 3 poems per poet

Internet Copyrighted just as print materials; no notification of copyright status is required. Must follow general guidelines of fair use for text or type of material

Music, Lyrics, and Music Video Up to 10% of composition, recording or video, but no more than 30 seconds. Alterations cannot change the basic melody or the fundamental character of the work.

Illustrations, Cartoons, Photos A photograph or illustration may be used in its entirety No more than 5 images of an artist’s or photographer’s work No more than 10% or 15 images from a collection

Numerical Data Sets Up to 10% or 2500 fields or cell entries, whichever is less

Multimedia Presentation Citations Full bibliography included The opening screen must contain a notice “copyrighted materials have been used under fair use exemption of US Copyright Law.”
