EYC: The objectives  Introduce and support the YC in both partner schools  Establish the EYC between the three partner schools  Initiate EYC projects within the schools and communities  Be an inspiration to other institutions  Equip students with communication, diplomatic and organisational skills  Financial awareness, mathematical and business studies skills  Develop an awareness of different cultures and languages, and the ability to function in an international environment

5. EYC: Why?  Lack of ‘real life’ learning in schools  Allow students to develop lifelong skills  The need to foster a sense of European Citizenship and responsibility

6. EYC: Partner responsibilities All Partner Schools  Select target group and travelling group  Hold information sessions for students and staff  Monitor progress  Advertising EYC in school and local area  Language provision for students  Proposing new ideas
