Agricultural Trade in Vietnam Vietnam’s recent economic growth has been supported largely through trade, Much of this trade is in the Agricultural sector

Agricultural Trade in Vietnam and the Greater Mekong Subregion The delicate ecosystems of the Greater Mekong Region including Vietnam hold resources of especially high national and global value These resources are under increasing threat from Habitat loss and unsustainable practices and some of this is as a result of the drive for more Agricultural Trade

This seminar “Sustainable production of cocoa in Vietnam” As part of this Seminar we hope to benefit this project by bringing together the environmental and social considerations of Vietnamese stakeholders in cocoa and experts on international agricultural trade.

WWF Restructuring WWF Indochina will become WWF Greater Mekong Programme on 1 st November 2005 Incorporating WWF Indochina – Cambodia, Lao PDR and Vietnam as well as WWF Thailand and the upper Mekong Basin More aligned to the Asian Development Bank’s Greater Mekong Sub-region.
