Objectives:  Participants will be able identify ways to work in the collaborative effectively so every stakeholder’s needs are met.  Participants will recognize how to lead the collaborative without always stating that they are the “LEAD” partner.  Participants will know how to effectively collaborate on initiatives to drive student achievement.

Fourth Partner and Team Norms School Partner  Maintain open communication with building administrators (grade level principal and/or head principal).  Request permission for ALL DIPLOMAS NOW/Talent Development events and activities (DON’T ASSUME).  Serve as a building staff not just as a DIPLOMAS NOW/Talent Development employee. Norms  Come up with norms as a DN/TD team.  Remain consistent with norms at all meetings.

Joint Allegiances… “WE” Approach  Take a vested interest in all partner goals, events, and activities.  GLOBAL Youth Service Day  Talent Showcase  STEM Night  Use unified language regarding the DN/TD model. The old saying… There is no “I” in partner.  District personnel  Donors  Students and Parents  Volunteers
