2. Introduction Hi! all. Myself Shankar Thadhalani. I am a freshmen to ASU. You can call me Shanku, Shankey or Shan if that sounds easier to pronounce. PARTY My major is Computer System Engineering. This is my first time in USA. Basically I am from (Bombay) India. I like ASU, it's beautiful. And It is really a PARTY school. I like all kind of fast food here. I love baseball, basketball & football (though I am not a good at sports)

3. Why did I choose CSE? Now that's and complicated interesting question. I like computers but I still don't know which part I want to work on (hardware or software). And basically CSE lies in between both of them. Other thing is it even contains robotics, which is an interesting part of it.

4. My Background I am from really small city in India called Jalgaon, but the current Indian president also belongs to my city. I completed my high school last year, I had subjects like physics,chemistry, Calculus math & statics, Electronics(electrical). We had a PC at home since I was just a child, that made me much more attached to the Computers. It was one of the very first PCs all over. I know 'C' language and little bit 'C++'. I attended an engineering college in India for 4 months.

5. My picture That's me on a beach in Santacruz, CA. My Brother works in Bay area CA. So I landed in San- Fransisco on 29 Dec 2008 and had my new year there. Believe me or not I am 18 years old.
