The rainfall range is between 200-250mm a year. The days in the summer are hot,anything between 30-40 degrees Celsius (90-105 degrees Fahrenheit ). Winter temperatures range from a comfortable 20-25 degrees Celsius, but the nights can be freezing, frosts are common.

Plants There is little rain in the desert but the amount of vegetation may surprise you. Not only marble gums, mulga, and spinifex grass thrive here. You will even find a huge variety of shrubs and smaller plants. Animals Marsupials, lizards, frogs and even parrots can be found here. Even donkeys,camels and rabbits have been seen here.
