WHERE IS THE ROCKIES? The Rockies are located in Canada in North America in the Northern semi hemisphere.

WHAT IS THE HIGHEST PEAK IN THE ROCKIES? Mount Elbert is the highest peak in the Rockies at the height of 14,440 feet.

HOW LONG DOES THE ROCKIES STRETCH ? Rockies stretch more than three thousand miles.It spreads from Canada to New Mexico.

What is the weather at the Rockies ? The Rockie mountains have unpredictable Weather which can change rapidly. The Rockies have mild summers,cold winters and a of rain.

How old are the Rockies? The Rocky Mountains were formed from 80 million to 55 million years ago by the Laramide orogeny. Since then, erosion by water and glaciers have sculpted the mountain range into dramatic valleys and peaks. med by the

There are lots of hoofed Animals they are very sure footed for the mountain that they live on. Many animals migrate to the lower and warmer levels during the winter months, some hibernate and some even have big feet so that they can walk on snow

Is there plants on the Rockies ? The Forest are full of pine trees, firs and spruces, plants are very sturdy. Most clinging to rock and hard soil. The plants have to be very small because the wind can blow them away.

There are many people that live on the Rockies. At the first ice age humans started to inhabit the Rockies

What do the tourist do when they visit the Rockies They can do lots of things like ski, Horse ride, climb, hike, paraglide, absail and ice climb
