Fishermen depend on the lunar phases and the moons influence on fish species, weather, and tides for fishing. Aboriginals believed in “reading” the positions of stars and planets. Hunters, fishermen, and mariners use the sky to determine their location. Knowing positions of Celestial bodies helps measure the length of a season.
