Shade Tree A’s – The Organization Incorporated in 1973, non-profit org. Affiliation with two national organizations Model A Ford Club of America Model A Restorers Club Purpose: The club is dedicated to the preservation and the restoration of the Model A Ford automobile and supports membership in the national organizations dedicated to the same purpose.

Our Members and Membership Family Oriented Membership currently 77 families throughout the CSRA and beyond Over 100 Model A vehicles Don’t have to own a Model A Ford – just have an interest in the hobby Award winning monthly newsletter and web site www.shadetreeas.org www.shadetreeas.org Formal organization consisting of elected officers and BOD’s

About our Members Come from all “walks of life” Don’t have to be a great “mechanic” Some do have unique skills and are very supportive

Facts about the Model A Four cylinders, 40 HP engine (200 ci.) Top speed about 65 mph, 45-50 mph cruising Three speed manual transmission 10 gal. gas tank, gravity feed Hand crank and electric starter Mechanical brakes Manual spark advance, turn signals, choke and throttle

More facts 6 Volt battery – positive ground No seat belts Tempered shatter-proof safety glass Most only have one tail light, only deluxe models have two 1 wiper blade – driver’s side Heater was optional
