Focus (Southfield, Infant/Nursery) Early & Late Session 8 – 6 “ Fill in sessions for children starting school part time) – Pastures Way Homework Club – St Martins Halyard High School P.E. Things we do now ! Care 0 – 5, 48 weeks 8 – 6 pm, Pastures Way There are around 350 registered childminders in Luton providing full time & wrap around care 8am – 6pm Wrap around care, St Martins After school clubs 4 x weekly St Martins Things we could do … Link childminders to schools to give parents choice in child care opinions Holiday Clubs – Chantry Childcare 52 weeks – St Martins CHILDCARE (8am to 6pm – 52 weeks per year)

Community – A view of the Future Thinking/Feeling/ Saying Children/adults – I’m glad this available so that I can go to work & earn more money Gain qualifications Someone else’s responsibility – (child care) (respite) I wish I had/had this! Children involved in activities – not roaming streets We see the school more as part of the community There are fewer children unsupervised during the holidays We live next to the school and we now have no respite Community spirit has returned – we do now live in isolation Doing Using it abusing it Feeling ownership Supporting events Offering help – fundraising/volunteering

Schools – A view of the future Thinking/Feeling/Saying Want work/Life balances Over worked Stressed Accountability with needs Employing more cleaners/site agents Happy because we are providing a safe educational environment Glad we incorporated childminders into our extended school – we were able to support families with complex needs Doing Too Much! Hopefully – Listening to parents more

I love Dr Who How lucky Chantry Kids are We are respected as individuals and have more opportunities Doing Extra activities Making new friendship groups Running riot Unsure of how to initial play
