6 The Memorandum of Understanding for Young Carers Updated in March 2015 Identified that there should be ‘No Wrong Doors’ for young carers and their families. Young carers should be identified, assessed and their families supported regardless of which service is contacted. Children and Adult Services need to adopt a whole system, whole council, whole family approach to providing support for young carers and their families. This will be achieved through working across systems, in partnership with health and local carer organisations.
