4.  Worked for Motorola headed by Bob Galvin.  Worked for General Electric headed by Jack Welch.

5.  1985 Bob Galvin set Motorola on course to achieve Six Sigma level of quality. Six sigma is achieved when a process does not produce more than 3.4 defects/errors per million opportunities.

6.  1990 Jack Welch challenged organization to stop wasting time.
