12. Most schools have an online application. Students must register by creating a username and password for themselves to log on. They can then apply online. For CUNY schools, you must apply through the CUNY Portal.

13. IMPORTANT!!!!!!! Review each institution’s website for further information and instructions. Supplementary Required Works for most SUNY schools as well. Some institutions may require additional writing samples. Juniors MUST research schools over the summer and receive requirements. They should be applying to 8-10 universities/colleges, which includes at least 1 CUNY and 1 SUNY.
