6 Ag Ed Review Fall 2007 Standards reviewed by 230 ag educators Included secondary and post-secondary educators Reviewers nominated by State Staff representatives from 39 states

7 Ag Industry Validation Summer 2008 Process to ensure standards meet industry needs All pathways reviewed by subject matter experts Reviewers nominated by State Staff, FFA, and Industry 130 reviewers representing 32 states

8 Academic Cross Walk Summer 2008 Alignment of Ag Standards to National Academic Standards One team in each academic area: math-science-communications-social studies Teams comprised of ag and academic teachers Agreement of 75% of team for alignments to be deemed valid

9 Approval and Release to the Profession FINAL DRAFT approved by The Council in October 2008 Available via Councils Ag Ed Learning Center www.AgEdLearning.org
