2 Butler Students’ Responses to Questions about Family Perceptions and Mental Health Symptoms Butler students perceived their families more favorably than peers did at other institutions, and they responded more positively to most of the survey’s questions about mental health problems and symptoms such as: Loneliness Self-concept and worth Anxiety Concentration Self-consciousness Anger and violence against others Suicidal ideation Academic confidence
