Me My eighth year at Burroughs, and second in second grade. Married, two kids – live by Pearl Park. Taught at St. Ben’s & St. John’s for five years in the Education Department. Taught at Emerson Spanish Immersion in Mpls. for 6 years. “Knaus” rhymes with “house.”

Check your child’s backpack and folder every day. Help your child complete the homework. Visit our school: conferences, PTA meetings, school events, volunteering. Read, read, read!! Come to the class picnic this fall! What can families do?

BRAVO! Daily volunteer during literacy time (9:00-11:45) and Science/Social Studies Time (2:00 - 2:40) Friday Fun “Take-apart Center” Parties!! Book Clubs Mystery Reader Special Projects – music, art, dance, woodworking, etc. ***ALL volunteers must view the video online (link on the Burroughs website) and fill out forms – in the office.*** Volunteering
