Superintendent of Documents (SuDocs) Classification Federal Government Documents

Characteristics of SuDocs Classification Federal documents have alphabetical call numbers. Federal documents are arranged by issuing government agency, not subject. SuDocs classification is used for federal documents only. State documents have their own classification.
