Biomedical Model of Midwifery . History of Midwives competencies. Health Policies on Stillbirths/Miscarriages. Legislation (returning babies to country). Rural and Remote Barriers. WHO’s Document. Biomedical Model of Midwifery-Not addressing spiritual/cultural needs in service delivery in Perinatal loss. History of Midwives competencies in grief & loss (Sorry Business). Health policies on stillbirths/miscarriages (definition – gestation age) Legislation – transporting babies back to country. Rural and Remote Barriers –closure of smaller hospitals. WHO’s Document- review of inequality of service delivery to Indigenous women. Never Forgotten

Aboriginal bioethic? Is there one? Submission for ethics approval. History of Culture in regard to Sorry Business in Perinatal loss. Nil specific documentation in relation to Aboriginal Women, my will be an original document. Aboriginal Spirituality & Beliefs (Elders journey and narrative story telling in relation to perinatal loss). Kinship Structure: Importance in Loss & Grief. (extended family ). Cultural Significants of returning babies to Country. Cultural safety issues in delivery suite. Methodology: Questions developed using the midwifery competencies for Aboriginal women’s interviews, comparison of 30 yrs to now. Has there been any change in the treatment of Aboriginal Women. Aboriginal bioethic? Is there one? Submission for ethics approval. Love that can never be replaced.
