For the word of the Lord is right and true, He is FAITHFUL in all he does (Psalm 33: 4) He is faithful in all he does. He finishes everything that He is determined to do. Who is like you? You are mighty, O Lord, and your FAITHFULNESS surrounds you (Psalm 89: 8) Faithfulness is part of His character. And the FAITHFULNESS of the Lord endures for ever. (Psalm 117: 2) God’s faithfulness is eternal.
7
Your FAITHFULNESS continues through all generations (Psalm 119: 90) Every generation can count on His faithfulness. Great is your FAITHFULNESS (Lamentations, 3: 23) God’s faithfulness is boundless. I will betroth you in FAITHFULNESS, and you will acknowledge the Lord (Hosea, 2: 20) His faithfulness is personal.
8
The world is based on egocentricity, and it has banished faithfulness to God and to others. “Do as you please, you deserve it” “You first” “If anyone stands in your way, get rid of him” “If anything goes wrong, it’s someone else’s fault”
9
“There are those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers; those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth; those whose eyes are ever so haughty, whose glances are so disdainful; those whose teeth are swords and whose jaws are set with knives to devour the poor from the earth, the needy from among mankind” Proverbs, 30: 11-14
10
We must be faithful in all the aspects of our life. Firstly, being faithful to God and His teachings. Secondly, showing our faithfulness in our relationships with others. That is possible only with a daily and constant devotion to God. Then, the Holy Spirit can develop that fruit in us.
11
Revelation, 2: 10
12
Despite the apparent delay of the Second Coming, God wants us to remain faithful. Only if we do that, we will listen the words… “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!”
