GOALS OF AP BIOLOGY Learn valuable skills to transition from high school to college curriculum. – Study skills for individual learning styles. – Develop higher order thinking. – Learn how to learn. – Learn how to process information. – Learn how to multitask. – Be challenged in a way that is different than any experience you have had in high school before. – Be prepared for college—regardless of future academic goals. If you can succeed in science…you can succeed in anything.

Expectations of AP Biology BE PREPARED TO WORK – To be successful you should spend at least 1 hour a day on AP Biology and go no more than 2 days without studying. BE RESPONSIBLE AND PROACTIVE – Late work/quizzes will not be accepted, you can always email your assignments or take the test earlier. – Extensions will be granted in rare circumstances. BE DILIGENT AND DON’T GET BEHIND – There will a quiz every week and pop quizzes at my discretion.

EXPECTATIONS OF AP BIOLOGY TAKE THE AP TEST Recommended that you enroll in Advanced Anatomy—Spring Term – Additional AP Information/Time to Study. Additional Time needed for labs/exams: – 1 st Term Lunch Periods 2 Saturdays/Term – 2 nd Term Before School 2 Saturdays/Term
