November 8, 2007 Showing the garden’s progress since the last photos about five weeks ago.

Annie behind the structure upon which three barely visible runner bean plants will grow. These three seeds will soon entirely conceal the windows behind them and produced buckets of pods. The clear plastic tree guards protect eggplant seedlings and the one at the far right is accelerating an especially early flowering zucchini variety called Butterstick.

. Here it is, only 8 November, less than a month since the last usual frost date, and Oregon Spring has formed fruit. The tree guards that protected this plant was removed today.
