Julie Ann Danielson 20 Years

Julie Danielson - 20 Years Julie is a Buyer/Purchasing Card Administrator with the Procurement Division. She started her career with Orange County in 1992 as a parent volunteer with the Head Start Program and after part-time work with the Summer Feeding Program, was hired as a Teacher Assistant. Julie, a mother of four, has also worked as a storekeeper at the Corrections Department and the Convention Center as a Supply Expeditor. Since becoming a Procurement Card Administrator, she has saved the County more than $1.3 million in rebates. *

Ginger Bickett Fox 20 Years

Ginger Fox - 20 Years Ginger is a Recreation Leader at Silver Star Community Park in Pine Hills. She started her career in Orange County with the Citizens Commission for Children at the Meadowbrook Middle School after-school program. Ginger, who likes to paint in her spare time, has worked at the Mark’s Street Senior Center and at Barnett, Willow Street, Fort Christmas, and Magnolia Parks. She is a Certified Parks and Recreation Professional and has received a National Association of Counties (NACO) award for establishing a History Camp in 1998. *

Timothy Walter Groth 25 Years

Timothy is a Project Manager with the Convention Center’s Capital Planning Division. He holds both a General and Roofing Contractor License. He started with Orange County as an Education Coordinator with Community Affairs and Head Start. While at Head Start he supervised and coordinated the renovations for five pre-school centers. Timothy, a volunteer soccer referee, also managed the construction of twelve of the new Fire Stations during his career. * Timothy Walter Groth - 25 Years

Nicole N. Sutton 25 Years

Nicole is currently a Correctional Officer assigned to the Laundry Unit. She joined Orange County in 1989 as a Control Desk Monitor. She was certified as a Corrections Officer in 1990. Nicole has worked in nearly all of the Correctional Facilities while assigned to Corrections. She is currently on the recruitment team helping to guide the new generation of officers and is completing her Bachelor’s Degree. * Nicole N. Sutton - 25 Years

Ernest G. Whittaker 25 Years

Ernest is a Detention Service Officer with Corrections. He started his career with Orange County in 1989 as an Event Coordinator at the Convention Center. In 1991, Ernest transferred to Corrections where he worked in the Main Facility for 14 years. An Eatonville native, Ernest is now at the North Perimeter Building where he has proudly served during the last five years. * Ernest G. Whittaker - 25 Years

Alfred C. Lewis III 20 Years

Alfred is a Lieutenant with Fire Rescue Operations. He started with Orange County in 1994, was promoted to Engineer in 2004, and shortly thereafter to Lieutenant. Alfred, a father of four, was awarded a Unit Citation for his work with the Wedgefield brush fires in 1994. He also received a Unit Citation from the State of Florida for his response during the 2004 Hurricanes. * Alfred Lewis III - 20 Years

Hogla Rivera – 20 Years Hogla is a Senior Fiscal Coordinator with the Fiscal and Operational Support Unit of Fire Rescue. She began her career with Orange County in 1994 as a Clerk Specialist with the Head Start Program. During her 20 year career, Hogla has worked in several areas including the County Administrator’s Office, the History Center, Financial Services, and with the Board of County Commissioners District Three Office. *

Angel L. Rodriguez 25 Years

Angel L. Rodriguez – 25 Years Angel is currently an Equipment Operator IV and Acting Supervisor which means he starts his shift at 4 a.m. each day. His career with Orange County started in 1989 as a Maintenance Person II for the Resource Recovery Department, now known as Solid Waste. Angel, a talented musician, has a certification in landfill management. He was the first person at Utilities to complete the Supervisory Development Program in 2001. * *

Esteban Lopez Jr. 20 Years

Esteban Lopez Jr. – 20 Years Esteban started his career with Orange County in 1994 as a Utilities Maintenance Technician at the Orange County landfill. He worked at the landfill for one and a half years before being promoted in 2009. He now works in Field Services, formerly known as the Wastewater Division. Esteban, who is an avid outdoorsman, is currently a Utilities Maintenance Coordinator. *

Laura L. Shemanski 25 Years

Laura L. Shemanski – 25 Years Laura is a Utilities Services Specialist. She started with Orange County as a Customer Service Representative in 1989. Laura has worked with the following divisions: Building, Zoning, and Facilities Management. Her most memorable accomplishment was saving Orange County over $6 million through her testimony in a civil lawsuit. Laura, who loves to travel, has also served on the United Way Executive Committee. *

Terri Joan Malys-Thill 20 Years

Terri Joan Malys-Thill – 20 Years Terri is a Program Coordinator in the Water Conservation Section. She joined Orange County in 1994 as a Planning Aide in the Planning Division and was promoted to Senior Planner in the Neighborhood Services Section. She was the County’s liaison for the Census 2000 and created the “Census 2000-Are You Ready?” Orange TV show as well as the “Neighborhoods Today” program. Terri, who loves to garden, heads up the “Water Watch” program to educate customers about mandatory watering restrictions. *
