5. Punishments Methods to get rid of undesirable behavior. Positive punishments: adding in an undesirable stimulus Negative punishments: removing a desirable stimulus

7. Problems with Punishment 1. It models aggression as a way to solve problems 2. Breeds anger in the recipient 3. Doesn’t provide an alternative behavior. Therefore, the behavior only goes away when the punisher is around.
