5. Pre-algebra TEXTBOOK  The books are fabulous! They are a wonderful resource for your child.  There is an on-line textbook along with valuable resources at www.classzone.com www.classzone.com

7. The iPad….  Students are encouraged but not required to use their iPads for notes.  Students will be submitting all homework through Canvas on their iPad.  iPads will be used as a resource through out the year.

8. Canvas  The new learning management system that CUSD 95 has adopted.  Can accessed through app on iPad or through the website lz95.instructure.com.  Homework and upcoming assessments will be posted on here.

9. The Homework….  Homework will typically be assigned daily. Each homework assignment will be worth 5 points.  Points are earned by completing all problems and correcting them the next day.  The homework will be posted on Canvas which will then sync to their iPad calendar.  The purpose of each homework assignment will be to review what was taught in class.

10. E-School  Please use E-school to monitor your child’s grades.  I try to post each day, but if I fall behind, it will be posted by Friday.  I will post late/ missing assignments as well as notes on great accomplishments.
