What we’ve heard Scottish benefits should: treat people with dignity and respect use positive language about people on benefits deal better with complex situations but also be simple to understand be fair and transparent for all

Disability benefits keep a national system should not be based on people’s income assessment - make better use of existing evidence, for example medical records need to better link up with existing services Motability scheme works well

Carers Good that Carer's Allowance recognises carers' contribution, but that the level is too low People like the simplicity of Carer’s Allowance But doesn’t take into account amount or intensity of caring Doesn’t properly recognise that caring doesn’t start and stop when the disabled person is in care or hospital Can we join up better?
