2. Tracking a mammoth Yesterday me and my class went on a cave men trip.

3. First we went on a mammoth hunt.

4. We started walking.

5. We saw so many footprints.

6. Then we saw some big bison.

7. We had to walk past them.

8. They were so scary my heart was beating so fast but we got past them.

9. And we walked a bit further.

10. Then we walked up a giant hill. We climbed and climbed …….

11. I felt so hot and sweaty.

12. We rested for a little bit.

13. And then we went a bit further until Nick found the mammoth.

14. I found a whole lot of fur. The mammoth was just a teddy.

15. Skinning and gutting a rabbit Half of the class did skinning and gutting a rabbit. Reiner showed us how to do it.

16. We had to pull the skin off and we had to pull its guts out. It was the most disgusting day of my life.

17. I felt like I needed to be sick.

18. I pulled out this stringy thing. It was disgusting.

19. It was wriggly.

20. Fire making. The whole class did fire making. First Karl and Shae did a demonstration. Karl showed us what to put on the fire.

21. Shae used the flint to make the fire and my group had to make a fire. I roasted strawberries. They tasted soo yum!

22. Half of the class did spear throwing. I first Reiner showed us how to do it. Shae told us when to throw and when to pick up the spears.

23. I wasn’t very good at it but it was fun. We had a moving target. I didn’t hit that either but it was still fun.
