Work done and practical organisation
in 2005 : work initiated, statement from the Commission at WELMEC Committee in May 2005, work allocated to existing WG’s and sub-groups of WG8, preparation of work made by at least 3 persons and industry included
2006 : identification ready with comments and gaps identified, agreement by the WELMEC Committee, proposition to the Commission, Commission asked for simplified tables without the detailed explanation, Commission Working Group and MID Committee confirmed acceptance of WELMEC work

The WELMEC Committee in May 2007 welcomed the proposal from J.F Magana to deliver the first draft of the corresponding tables OIML – MID requirements to the WELMEC Chairman for further consideration in the future
Work started with with MI 002 and R 137 (draft sublitted by BIML and under examination by WG 11)
Future work for taximeters, electricity meters and also evolution of the existing tables in parallel with the revision of correponding OIML recommandations
