3.  Ruler- Determines were they go to war. The king is considered God.  Nobles- knew how to read and write.  Merchants/ artist- made objects to sell. They were very good at trade.  Peasants- gardening and cleaning.  Slaves- Served the nobles. Aztecs

5.  Shi- gentry scholar.  Nong- Peasant framers.  Gong- Artisans, craftsmen  Shang- merchants and traders. China

7.  Emperor- figure head  Shogun- Powerful military leader  Daimyo- Powerful lords  Samurai- Warriors that served the shogun  Peasants- No power Japan

9.  Imperial- highest class.  Senators- served the senate.  Equestrians- In charge of the stables.  Commons- like free people.  Freed people- people that bought freedom.  Slaves- served people. Rome
