-Managing Week to Week Business Matters -Prepare President’s Weekly Report -Setting Meeting Agendas -Communicating with Junior Achievement -Conducting Board meetings -Writing the Stockholder letter -Taking the place of another officer if they cannot attend a meeting -Must attend JA Training

-Develops a compensation plan -Prepares the Business Plan -Maintains work schedules, payroll, and shareholder information -Resolves employee disputes -Assists in the creation of the company charter application -Must attend JA Officer Training

-Responsible for financial planning of the company -Creates a budget for the company -Keeps accurate financial records -Tracks progress of company towards financial goals -Handles banking transactions and reconciles the cash box weekly -Must attend JA Officer Training

-Responsible for developing and carrying out the company’s marketing strategy -Trains and manages the company’s sales force -Keeps accurate sales records -Develops sales incentive (commission) programs -Plans advertising campaigns -Must attend JA Officer Training

-Responsible for attracting and retaining customers and new employees -Obtains product approval before the company begins production or service -Liaison between the JA office, insurance company, and school -Coordinates the overall Business Plan and Annual Report -Promotes a positive image of the Wolves Den and JA at the school and community level -Must Attend JA Officer Training

-Responsible for ordering and purchasing raw materials and supplies -Establishes production goals -Monitors production and product quality -Determines which products will be sold in conjunction with the marketing department and tracks inventory -Determines which product(s) will be produced for Trade Fair -Must attend JA Officer training

There are currently 25 students in this program 6 officers 5 Departments -Each department will have 3-4 employees in addition to the VP.

The Wolves Den opens for business to the public: SEPTEMBER 16, 2009 Hours to be Determined

Each employee regardless of position will be responsible for working assigned shifts in the Wolves Den. Yes-you do get paid! Additional employees solely responsible for sales in the Wolves Den and Production of Trade Fair products will be recruited during Rush Week.
