1.Using 4 Styrofoam balls, create Earth models by coloring the northern hemisphere blue and the southern hemisphere green. 2.Use toothpicks to model where the north and south poles are. 3.Using a black marker, draw the Equator. Seasons Hats V: 2

1.Cut out a circle in the center of the foam board. 2.Place the 4 Earth models around the circle to represent the four seasons on Earth. Stick and Lamp Model V: 2 Using the Styrofoam ball on the straw, model the phases of the moon. Start by standing in front of the lamp with ball between you and the lamp. Turn counter clockwise to model the rotation of the Earth and the Moon. Stop at each of the 8 positions and say out loud the name of the lunar phase.
