What happens at Transition meeting Address any pressing business that may impact incoming officer Things the outgoing officer wanted to do but didn’t get done Things that would have been done differently Transfer any documentation (lists, minutes, actions of the Area/Division Council, Calendar of activity) Club visit reports that could assist new Area Director Other ?

How to Introduce the New Officer Announcements Identify the person, contact details, and their background By email, phone call, personal visit ? Welcome the incoming officer to join you on any club visits and events to facilitate transition

Facing Restructured Area / Division? How to adapt source of material and lists to hand over ? If club(s) in your Area are moving to other Area(s) or Division(s) How do you prepare your successor(s)? What if it’s a brand new Area or Division and there is no one to transition from ?
