2. Welcome to 4th Grade!  This is an important year for you!  I will give you an introduction to 4 th grade and to our classroom.  If you have any questions during my presentation, please raise your hand and wait to be called on.

3. About Me  My Background  I grew up in California.  Before I began teaching I had a career as an actress.  Then I got married and had two children.  My Experience  I’ve been teaching for over 20 years.  I have taught 3 rd, 4 th and 5 th grade.  4 th grade is the BEST!

4. My Family  I have two wonderful sons, Joseph and Daniel. They are 33 and 31 years old.  I have two brothers and one sister.  I have two terrific cat, Mister New Kitty who is 7 and ½ years old and Miss Copy Kat who is 1 year old.

5. Goals  To give you the academic tools you need to progress to 5th grade and pass the MSP  To have fun while we learn.  To make new friends and discover new interests.

6. ATTENDANCE Please be on time for school  Be at your desk having signed up for lunch and taken care of business by 7:50 AM.  School ends at 2:15 PM
