War in Afghanistan The war against Afghanistan was launched after Al Qaeda launched an attack on United States The United States attacked Afghanistan because it was the hub for Osama Bin Laden. The United States aimed to overthrow the Taliban government too for the harsh Islamic Sharia laws they used on the country. With assistance from allies the United States attacked Al Qaeda basis in Afghanistan

the war caused loss of so many innocent lives Billions of tax payers money was lost in financing a war that could have been avoided The war opened a third major war zone in the area rendering it unstable in terms of economics and security. Family member of US army lost loved ones whose lives would have been spared had the US not gone to war.
