Slide title 40 pt Slide subtitle 24 pt Text 24 pt Bullets level 2-5 20 pt © Ericsson AB 20062006-04-214 Ericsson perspective on standards and interoperability in relation to ETPs ETPs need only be involved if existing organisations do not cover the issues adequately Issues requiring standardisation can be expected to come from project results from FP 7 and other collaborative projects –They are likely to be handled through company contributions rather than as project or platform contributions Support for interoperability testing could be useful but the existence of demand to do this within an ETP or FP 7 context is not yet evident Test-beds for a range of concepts as well as for inter-operability will probably be needed from laboratory test-beds to large scale test- beds Global market issues will play a role in decisions on where and how to standardise results when results start to emerge in 2010 and beyond
