fondly Billywise’s mother fondly fed him, saying, “Hush! Just eat and rest.” Whenever I see a daisy, I fondly think of my mom, because she loves daisies. Do you think fondly of a time when you got hurt, or a time when you were happy?

fondly How might you speak fondly to a baby brother or sister? Think of a special family event, such as Thanksgiving or a birthday party. What do you remember fondly about it? Tell about a time that you did something fondly for someone.
