How do discrimination complaints get resolved?
IRS Resolution of Formal Complaints Should be filed within 60 days of incident or last in a series of incidents Receiver of complaint submits it to proper authority Authority who receives the complaint (usually CO) assigns advocates within 72 hours 1-X-Navy Pride and Professionalism – Equal Opportunity 1-6-13

Resolution of Formal Complaints Investigating officer (IO) notifies complainant investigation has begun After investigation complete, IO notifies complainant that the complaint has been resolved and complainant has the right to request a review by the next higher authority 1-X-Navy Pride and Professionalism – Equal Opportunity 1-6-14

The Navy’s Fraternization Policy
